Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary specialised in the field of ophthalmology in the year 1985 from Medical College, Amritsar.
 

Training with Dr. Akira Momose, Japan.
His field of interest is lasers in Ophthalmology. In Japan, he underwent training under Dr.Akira Momose at the Institute of Clinical ophthalmology, Kiryu. In Canada, he took courses for Cataract surgery by Phaco and Spectacle removal by Lasik laser under Dr. Howard Gimbel at Calgary. Dr.Gimbel is also considered the father of Phaco-emulsification.

Former Secretary of Indian Medical Association (Central Delhi),

He has been the secretary of Indian Medical Association, Central Delhi in the year 1996-97. He has also been an elected member of the executive of Delhi Ophthalmological Society during the year 1997-98-99. Some national and international conferences were conducted during these years in New Delhi.
Eye Specialist Dr. Chaudhary has a major contribution in promoting hi-tech laser technology in Ophthalmology in New Delhi. He pioneered the Excimer Laser technology for spectacle removal in Delhi in the year 1995 and the Lasik laser technology in 1998 and the wavefront guided Lasik (C-Lasik) in 2002. He has participated in live surgical demonstrations before large audiences of eye specialists for both Lasik laser and Phaco procedures.
He runs his own eye hospital at Daryaganj by the name of Chaudhary Eye Centre and Laser Vision which is equipped with the latest state of the art machines for hi-tech eye treatment. Here he also imparts training on his equipment to young eye doctors keen on keeping abreast with the recent advances in the field. He also keeps himself abreast with the latest developments in the field of Ophthalmology all over the world by attending national and international conferences.

Dr. Chaudhary has also received a lot of media appreciation for his work in the field of ophthalmology. Notable among the publications that have covered his work are India Today, Sunday, Outlook, Hindustan Times, Times Of India, Indian Express, Economic Times, Nav Bharat Times etc. He was honoured with the ‘Rajdhani Ratan Award - 99’ by the Minister of Education, Govt. of Delhi Dr. Narender Nath for his contribution to society in the field of ophthalmology.
